Question
Hello! I am working with a kindergartner who can write upper case letters OK, so so, but has a horrible time with any curved letter. He is unable to write the c which also makes a, b, d, g, and q difficult. He finds it easier to invert the c or to write it more of a straight line. His c typically looks like an inverted j with no dot on top. He is able to trace the letter c, but is very laborious about it. Writing is very frustrating for this little friend. I would appreciate any guidance and pointers. Thank you! This is the first student I ever work with in 30 years of teaching who has trouble writing the letter Cc. I have not worked with any other lower case letters with him yet.
