Description
I am a certified (Texas) special education teacher with 15 years of experience working with ages Kindergarten through 5th grade.
I work with 21 student diagnosed with dyslexia ranging from 1st to 5th grade levels.
I currently use a systematic, explicit, multi-sensory reading program which supports students with dyslexia. I am so honored to say that I had non-readers at the beginning of the 22-23 school year, and all of my students are able to blend letter sounds in words. Many have begun reading basic passages. Their comprehension is improving because they are able to decode the words!
