Description
I have worked extensively with children with dysgraphia, adhd, and autism as a classroom teacher, one on one tutor. Most importantly, I have dealt with dysgraphia, adhd, and executive function disorder with my own child for the past eighteen years. I do not use the same program for each child, rather I indivualize tutoring sessions for each student using whatever program, tools, etc. that will encourage success. Children are all unique individuals, and deserve an individualized program. Dysgraphia is a complicated diagnosis that can frustrate the child. I have a MS in Computers in ED, which gives me an advantage in helping children with dysgraphia. By using technology children can overcome their anxiety when writing. When a phonological program is mixed with assisted technology training, the dysgraphic child gains confidence and blossoms.
