It's Black Friday and time for our annual list of fun and festive holiday gifts for people with writing difficulties. No matter what holiday you may celebrate, all of our suggestions are items that that could help someone out while they are having so much fun, they don't even realize it!

Beats by Dr. Dre - There are great deals on these trendy bluetooth headphones for the holidays. They have all the capability of voice-to-text, audiobooks, and other school/work applications while still being plenty cool for your gamer or music lovers.

Starlight Jewel is a new fantasy novel by E. L. Lyons geared for teen or adult readers. The first book in the series, we are thrilled to see it is getting great reviews. Also check out our spotlight piece on the author and her inspiring story.





This Llama Can Write is a new children's book by Patty DeDurr that talks about the importance of assistive technology. Patty spoke on Dysgraphia Awareness Day and is determined to help reduce stigma surrounding neurodivergency by increasing representation in books. So share the book with kids you know, spread dysgraphia awareness, and help support her mission!

Old Classics:


Many classic games are great for motor skills - check out these suggestions!



Operation - Check out all the latest versions of the classic game. All of them develop hand strength and fine motor skills while using tweezers and they now come in themes everyone will love. Fun, newer themes include the Mandalorian.



Jenga - Classic fun for the whole family while improving motor skills and coordination. Writing on the blocks is completely optional. There are also Super Mario and Harry Potter editions!





More retro fun, Lite-Brite is a classic motor skills toy with putting pegs onto the light board. Be sure to get some fun refill patterns too for hours of entertainment.
